Creative Director

As the Creative Director, you will work closely with the account teams and digital department to deliver engaging content that meets the expectations of our clients and their customers. You should be extremely creative, dedicated, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

What will you do?

CREATIVE

  • Lead your team to produce creative and content strategies as well as promotional campaigns or logo manuals
  • Active participation on preparation of pitch presentations
  • Ensure designs and content reflect consistently and positively the clients comm strategy
  • Create and implement tailored marketing assets based on individual client requirements
  • Develop exceptional and well-crafted copy that meets clients’ requirements
  • Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions
  • Evaluate trends, assess new data and keep up-to-date with the latest marketing techniques

PRODUCTION

  • Shoulder the responsibility of the quality and completion of all work projects assigned to members of your team
  • Hold responsibility of creative department from A to Z (from creative idea through production, post-production to final resizes that meets required technical specification from publishers

DAILY BUSINESS

  • Supervise the department’s daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines and budgets
  • Assist client department in resolving issues by responding to questions in a timely and professional manner

LEADERSHIP

  • Motivation, leadership and mentoring of your team to flourish their personal growth
  • Ability to manage fast growth of your team in terms of efficient hiring process and integration of newcomers to the team
  • Clear determination of responsibilities in your team
  • Ensurement of substitution and ultimately also succession

 

What are the expectations?

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism and other relevant fields

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 10 years relevant experience, minimum 4 years in leadership position (preferably from creative agency)
  • A minimum of 4 years’ digital experience, particularly with, but not limited to web, social and emerging technologies
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development opportunities in the areas of graphic design and social media

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Have an in-depth knowledge of development the brand ideas through multichannel marketing
  • A solid understanding of design and copy
  • Familiarity with a variety of software programs, such as Photoshop, InDesign and Figma
  • Web design experience an advantage
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional business skills like project management and leadership
  • Proficiency in English (German, Hugarian, Czech or Slovak is considered an asset, not must)
